HOW THE FUN BEGAN OVER 30 YEARS AGO
Michael and Frank Silva are 3 years apart. They would go out to play after Thanksgiving Dinner and set up 2 garbage cans at a distance from each other and threw a ball into the can to make a point thus began QB54. The first one who scored 54 would be the winner. How they came up with the number 54 came out of the clear blue sky. There were times when the neighbors would come over and play just for its fun and ended up being there for 3 hours.
REALIZATION SETS IN LET THE FUN BEGIN
They realize that they had something going that could be profitable and inexpensive. Frank the older of the 2 came up with the idea of adding chairs to the game for a dual purpose as other ideas began to develop. It literally took them over 30 years to produce the product you are seeing. 30 years later this homemade classic could be used as a tailgate type of game to be used before the Football or Baseball Stadium game started. They called the game The QB Thanksgiving Classic at that time.
