Our life today is not complete without a computer. The Local Library is even offering tech courses for seniors. There is a minimal registration fee for the courses but well worth it.
Convenience of Services
I find one of the outstanding features of the computer is to be able to pay bills online. That’s a convenience factor. There are times you need transportation with non-available.
In my retirement, I have time on my hand. Sitting around watching television all day is not for me. I have learned to set up a work schedule as if I was working an outside job. I have been very productive in my retirement.
CREATING A HOBBY
During my husbands’ illness, I built an “N” scale model Railroad. The Lord put it on my heart to build it. Will who could I turn to? The computer of course. I learned that there were didn’t size and types of trains and how they ran. I choose the N scale because it would be the right size for my apartment. The different scales are HO, most popular; G; O; N and Z.
For this adventure I had to use the computer to research how to build the railroad. I also had to use the computr to find out what kind of train set to get. I learned how to bid on ebay for parts and discounted prices. It was so much fun. It took me 3 years to build it.
EDUCATED ON SOME HEALTH ISSUES
Health is of great interest to me. I’ve had many health issues that I’ve overcome. Learning about blood types and food was the beginning of my turn-around to be healthy. The book by Dr. D’Adamo explains how foods react to different blood types. A very interesting concept of health. The Fat Burning Kitchen Book reveals a lot of information about digestive health and fat burning.
Speaking of health we can’t forget our Valentus page. It has slimroast coffee for weight loss. Prevail for exercising and Skinny Body products with its Instant Youth facial creams and other health products. They also have keto products which are very much a part of my lifestyle.
BOOKING FOR TRAVEL ONLINE
The Computer and the internet have allowed me to travel the world. Along with my smart phone I don’t have time to be board. My last cruise I didn’t have Suforia Travel. It has discount offers for travel and Hotel reservationsI will be sure to use them for my next cruise. My family was talking abut having a family reunion in 2 years. How convenient is that for discount prices.
THE COMPUTER IS GENERATIONAL
I have 4 generations under me. They all use the computer for education, games, entertainment, video’s. I use it to store my photos and to edit them and make collages. I’ve made all kinds of event cards and posters. I listen to my spiritual music all day long on my computer.
WORKING AT HOME WITH THE COMPUTER
My latest adventure with the computer is what I’m doing now. Working from home doing Blogging. I never knew that I was a blogger. Getting paid for what I like is tremendous.
