I am a Christian who spends a lot of time in the Bible. I meditate and apply its principles to every area of my life daily. Bereshith is the Hebrew word for “In the Beginning” which is the Book of Genesis.
So let us start at the “Beginning, in the Garden of Eden”
Believe it or not, every living topic that we experience here on this earth is in the Bible. God created the Garden of Eden with that perspective. If we believe in Him and trust in Him, He will show Himself strong for us.
The Road Map
In the Bible, there is a road map that shows you how to approach any situation that you need. So how do I find out how to apply shopping according to biblical principles. By doing it. The Bible says you have not because you ask not. So Father I’m asking you to show all who stop by to find something they have need of or want. The Shopping Mall Experience here at “HOPE IS” website. Principles for everyday living in the Bible
The principle here is in the Bible it says to pray about everything. The Bible says “And my God will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus”( Phillippians 4:19). Now in Psalm 23:1, it says: “The Lord is my shepherd I shall not want.”
God honors His word above His name
Now there is a major concept you must know. God says He honors His word above His name. That means He has made promises to us and if we fit the conditions He will honor His word. His faithfulness is very important for us to know and understand.
Purpose of the Bible and the Holy Spirit
After many hours with the Lord, the result is He has taught me so much about life in everyday situations according to the Bible. It was the original plan He had when He created us in the Garden Of Eden. He wants us to know Him and His ways. That is why He gave us the Bible and the Holy Spirit to give the interpretation of the scriptures and to teach us and comfort us. He is a loving Father and a faithful God.
God does not think as Man thinks
He has certain standards because of who He is. You see He does not have a sin mature. Therefore there are things He can not tolerate. That is why He sent Jesus to show us the why of the Father-God.
Jehovah is the name God uses in the affairs of Man here on the earth
As the creator, His name is Jehovah Elohim When He operates in the name of Jehovah that is the name He uses to intervene on our behave as to what takes place here on earth. Like I said I have spent many hours with the Lord and know it is in His heart that you know Him and His heart for us. He loves us so very much.
Do not be Deceived
Those who have received His Son Jesus Christ in their hearts become part of His family. Do not be deceived thinking everyone is part of the family of God. This is not true. That place was lost with the fall of Adam and Eve.
God is a Frequency
Now I know we are here to shop here at the “HOPE IS” online shopping mall. Like I said that if you seek the Lord in what you are here for you will find something useful in your visit. There is much for you to choose from. There are electronics, did you know God was a frequency, yes pure energy. He doesn’t have a body, yet He has a soul (feelings and emotions) to figure that out.
God is concerned about our covering
We have clothing affiliates such as Boscov’s a Department store that is like a shopping mall in itself. Cloths for all the members of the family and other merchandise. You know what is interesting God speaks about clothing thru out the Bible. God was so concerned about our neckedness that in the Book of Genesis He had to kill an animal to cover the nakedness of Adam and Eve. That was very heartbreaking for Him. He loved His creation. He even took the 7th day off to enjoy it.
Did you know that God appointed certain people and anointed them with giftings to make certain elements like perfumes
There are Beauty and Cosmetics affiliates here as well. There was a special process of being beautiful in Biblical times. The women had to soak in essential oils and perfumes. Yes, perfumes are mention in the Bible. For instance, Esther had to be prepared to meet the King for the first time. She had to soak in essential oils, herbs, and spices for the event.
